Dear Birgit,
We are all sad about the bad accident you suffered. We are grateful to our Lord for healing you. We pray for your complete recovery.
Our last "Sagip Puso" laboratory examinations last December 12, 2009 was a great help. Many availed the lowest price from about PhP 3,000 ($67) to PhP250 ($6) only. Our members whose spouses are already retired or jobless are in deed grateful to our foundation.
Our 31st Foundation Day held on December 30, 2009 was successful. It was well-attended. We acknowledged our successful youth with Certificate of Recognition.
It is good news for us that you celebrated Christmas/ New Year with the Filipino seafarers on board the ship. Yes, Christian bonding is necessary for a good working life at sea.
We are all praying and hoping for our well-being, for peace and understanding in our family, organization, and in our country. Our best regards to your loved ones and to all seafarers and their families in your association.
